Tsunami Is NOT a 9/11

I'm tired of hearing on the news. "This is our 9/11." This horrific act of nature is nothing like 9/11. It has caused far more sorrow then 9/11. 9/11 was an attack on America. This Tsunami is caused by nature, the attacks on September 11 were man made. I gets really anoyying when people try to compare this to September 11. They are like comparing apples to oranges. Completely different, but both tragic. I also see the 100,000+ lives that have been lost was unfortunate and sad, but 3,000 deaths from September was not just unfortunate, it was murder. I also have been in chat rooms discussing politics with people. I notice all the ignorance of these people who live over seas that 9/11 wasn't that bad and that we have outrageous laws for being allowed in the country. They will never know what it was like to be an American that day. It wasn't a tsunami, it wasn't a hurricane, it wasn't a Tornado, it was an attack on America. Today, despite moving on, the wounds are still very deep from 9/11 and for those of us who remember it, we will never be the same. I wish the rest of the world could grasp this fact. Another thing that upset me was all the criticisms of America not putting enough money into this tragedy when it was 30+ million dollars, which it has now increased 10 fold. Unlike anyone else, we had aircraft carriers with helicopters and everything else that is going to help the people there. We have alot of other military assets going into this. With just those military assets, we are probably spending upwards of just 100 million dollars a month in support of the relief effort. When it all comes down to it. America will be spending the most in the relief effort of any other foreign nation.
